Google Enterpise for mobiles

Google are now offering a mobile stylesheet for use with their search appliance:

The Google Search Appliance Mobile Stylesheet defines a user interface for your Google Search Appliance to enable enterprise search by mobile workers. It customizes the look and behavior of Google’s search page and search results page for optimal viewing on handheld devices.

Google just keep reaffirming their dedication to the mobile web. Loads of things work with phones, from Google Reader to Gmail. A recent post on their blog, Home on the road, discusses some of their recent mobile products.

It’s exciting to see Google promoting mobile web products with such enthusiasm, and I love using Gmail on my phone, but sometimes I wonder if they need to do even more to promote these products. They got search stuck in peoples’ minds, but what about mobile? Many people just don’t make the connection between what they do on the web and what they can do with their phone.
