xFruits

xFruits is an interesting little tool that allows you to do clever things with RSS feeds. You can produce mobile web friendly versions of your feeds, so you could take your blog and produce a mobile version in a few seconds.
For instance,

Produces something like this:

You can also combine feeds, send them out as email and turn them into PDFs. You could also combine these services by using the URLs produced by these feeds.
The interface on the xFruits site includes a greyed out “Composer” option. I expect in the future the “fruits” will be able to be combined explicitly to create new tools.
There’s a few services at the moment that aim to provide widgets for blogs, and tools to help you get the most about your blog (take a look at Big in Japan.)

xFruits looks slightly different—they’ve combined the idea of tools to help bloggers or even casual users with a community angle, and the potential to build your own modules in the future.
They’ve also got translations for Spanish, English, French and Japanese. It’s possible the European/Japanese focus might bring in users from territories who typically utilise mobile services, so xFruits could develop into something quite unique in the mobile web space.
